Jim Cutillo is the Founder and CEO of Alpha7X and the former founder and CEO of Stonegate Mortgage Corporation, which he led into the public markets.
At Stonegate, Jim pioneered OLIE, a proprietary diligence and underwriting platform that connected loan-level documents, data, controls and decisions across the mortgage lifecycle, from origination through securitization and final disposition. He also led the development of C3, an automated, risk-based diligence engine integrated with OLIE to quantitatively assess each loan and focus review procedures on areas of greater risk.
Stonegate's SEC registration filings highlighted OLIE and C3 as important elements of the company's competitive advantage, crediting these capabilities with strengthening data integrity, loan quality, operational control and investor transparency, improving diligence efficiency and sales execution, and helping Stonegate avoid significant loan losses from repurchase and indemnification demands.
That experience became the foundation for Alpha7X: the mortgage industry standardized data and decisions, but never standardized trust. Today, Jim is building the trust infrastructure that makes loan-level evidence, controls and proof verifiable and portable across the entire market.
