The Industry Standardized Data. It Never Standardized Trust.

The mortgage industry did the hard work of standardizing data. MISMO gave the market a shared vocabulary, and interoperability improved because of it.

What standards never addressed is whether a downstream party can rely on the work behind the data. Every counterparty still re-verifies, because reliance has no shared representation.

Standardizing trust means making verification itself structured, portable, and checkable — the same way the industry made data structured, portable, and checkable.
